How to get started on Github

Most of our projects are hosted on GitHub. In the beginning of the class you will learn how to use Git and GitHub. You will therefore need an account on GitHub. 

Step-by-step guide

1. Please create your account by registering here. 

   1. Choose the free plan and don’t create an organization. 

   2. Don’t forget to add a picture of yourself to your GitHub profile!

2. Add your Github username to this spreadsheet:https://docs.google.com/a/asu.edu/spreadsheets/d/14aqFwT4UvBpjzYpZAyKxoL8Q2sO7YXqiwPGnYWSdBQk/edit?usp=sharing. Let us know that you updated the spreadsheet.

3. We will add you to the DigInG organization, once you start working on our projects.
