Clicking on the "Spaces" link in the menu will take you to the Space management.

From here you can either click on an existing space to modify it or create a new one.

Creating a Space

To create a new space click on the plus icon in the menu bar next to "Spaces":

This will take you to a page on which you can enter a title and a description for your space. Title and description will eventually show up on the public part of your virtual space, e.g. the title is shown in the spaces list and the description is shown as info box. Here you can also upload a background image for you space. Make sure that your background image has a high enough resolution.

Once you've created a space, you will be taken to a page that lets you add space links and external links to your space.

Adding a Space Link

To add a space link click on the "Add Space Link" button. A dialog box will pop up that let's you create a new space link.

Start by clicking on the background image of you space where you want the new Space Link to be positioned. A little red arrow will appear. Now you can use the fields in the dialog box to adjust the link. You can:

  • rotate the icon by entering the degree of rotation (a number between 0 and 359)
  • add a label to the icon that will show up below the icon
  • choose if you want an arrow icon, an alert box, or if you want to upload your own image
  • if you want to use your own image for the link, choose an image from your computer.

When you're satisfied with your new Space Link, click "Create Space Link".
