Creating a Space

To create a new space click on the plus icon in the menu bar next to "Spaces":

This will take you to a page on which you can enter a title and a description for your space. Title and description will eventually show up on the public part of your virtual space, e.g. the title is shown in the spaces list and the description is shown as info box. Here you can also upload a background image for your space. Make sure that your background image has a high enough resolution.

Once you've created a space, you will be taken to a page that lets you add space links and external links to your space.

Adding a Space Link

To add a space link click on the "Add Space Link" button. A dialog box will pop up that lets you create a new space link.

Start by clicking on the background image of your space where you want the new Space Link to be positioned. A little red arrow will appear. Now you can use the fields in the dialog box to adjust the link. You can:

• rotate the icon by entering the degree of rotation (a number between 0 and 359)
• add a label to the icon that will show up below the icon
• choose if you want an arrow icon, an alert box, or if you want to upload your own image
• if you want to use your own image for the link, choose an image from your computer.

When you're satisfied with your new Space Link, click "Create Space Link".

Adding an External Link

To add an external link click on the "Add External Link" button. A dialog box will pop up that lets you create a new external link.                                                                                                                   

Start by clicking on the background image of your space where you want the new External Link to be located. A little blue globe icon appears. Now you can use the fields in the dialog box to adjust the link. You can:

• name the link with a label that will show up below the icon.
• enter the URL that will be redirected to, upon clicking the icon label.
• choose if you want to link this icon to an external source or to an image.
• if you want to use your own image for the link, choose an image from your computer.

When you're satisfied with your new External Link, click "Create External Link".

Adding a Module Link

To add a module link to your space, click on the "Add Module Link" button. A dialog box will pop up that lets you create a new module link.

Start by clicking on the background image of your space where you want the new Module Link to be positioned. A little red book icon will appear. Now you can use the fields in the dialog box to adjust the link. You can:

• rotate the icon by entering the degree of rotation (a number between 0 and 359).
• add a label to the icon that will show up below the icon.
• choose from the drop down the module you would like to link to your space.

When you're satisfied with your new Module Link, click "Create Module Link".

Change Background Image

To change the background image, click on the "Change Image" button. A dialog box will pop up that lets you upload a new image from your computer.

Once you have selected the image, click "Upload Image".

Deleting the Space

To delete the current space, you can click the "Delete Space" button and confirm the action by clicking "Delete" on the dialog box that appears. Once the current space is deleted, you can't locate it in the Space Management page. You would have to recreate the space altogether if needed.
