Adding an External Link

An External Link lets you link from a space to an external website

To add an external link click on the "Add External Link" button. A dialog box will pop up that lets you create a new external link. 

Start by clicking on the background image of your space where you want the new External Link to be located. A little blue globe icon appears. Now you can use the fields in the dialog box to adjust the link. You can:

• name the link with a label that will show up below the icon.
• enter the URL that will be redirected to, upon clicking the icon label.
• choose if you want to link this icon to an external source or to an image.
• if you want to use your own image for the link, choose an image from your computer.

When you're satisfied with your new External Link, click "Create External Link". Once you have created the link you can see that the External link is created in your space.

Delete an External Link

To delete a misplaced or unused external link in your space, click on the external link and a pop up appears which has a button "Delete Link". 

Once you click the "Delete Link" button the external link will be deleted and the external site which it was holding will no longer be linked to this current space.
