Quadriga Components

Quadriga has five main components: projects, concept collections, dictionaries, networks, and user management. Depending on what roles a user has, they can access different components. The following sections give a brief overview of the different components.

Projects

Projects are a way of grouping networks and text together. A user can have several projects that are completely separate from each other. A project has a public page that can be used to showcase the networks that belong to a project. The public page of a project lists all networks, provides a combined view of a project, and lets users search all networks in a project.

A project has one or more workspaces that are used to store networks.

Workspaces

Workspaces are subcomponents of projects. They can be used to group networks together to make it easier to track progress. Workspaces are a purely for organizational purposes and are not shown on public pages. If for example several users work on the same project, each user could have their own workspace to which they upload networks. However, a visitor of the public page would not see any workspace grouping.

Networks

In Quadriga, a network consists of all Quadruple annotations that were uploaded by one users, at a specific point in time, for a specific text. Networks are stored in workspaces. They can undergo a review process, in which an editor reviews a submitted network and approves or rejects it.
