Reference Management

At the moment, it is only possible to view and edit references that are stored in a group in Zotero.

There are multiple ways how to get references into Citesphere. If you have a way of importing references into Zotero, you can use your local Zotero client to collect references. Make sure that the references that you want to manage in Citesphere are in a Zotero group (the group does not have to be shared) and that the group is synced. The reference will then show up in Citesphere after you have logged in and connected your Zotero account.

Another way to add references is to create them directly in Citesphere. Go to the group you want the new reference to be in and click on "Create Reference". Fill our the reference information and click "Save."

Lastly, if you have Web of Science exports or JSTOR metadata, you can bulk import those into Citesphere as described here

The user interface

After you login to Citesphere, you should see a list of all the groups that you are part of. Clicking on a group will show you the groups contents.

Clicking on a reference which bring you to the details of that entry.
