Indexing Concepts

Selecting the "Index" option from the menu redirects to a screen for Index Management as shown in the image below. This gives the number of indexed concepts and the last time the concepts were indexed.

Selecting "Index WordNet Wrappers" re-indexes all existing concepts. Selecting "Delete Indexes" removes the current index. Indexing allows more rapid information retrieval during searching. While searching an index is a matter of milliseconds, re-indexing can take several minutes. Once indexing is complete, the screen updates the number of indexed concepts and the last time a re-index was run as shown in the image below.
